The Borrego Springs Civic Foundation was officially established in 1975.
The Borrego Springs Civic Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization.
Once a year, a fundraiser letter is sent out to the community, which is its only fundraiser.
The Foundation publishes a monthly Community Calendar from October – May, which is published in the local newspaper "Borrego Sun". It also maintains a Community Bulletin Boards: at The Center.
On the first Saturday in March, the Foundation co-sponsors with the Medical Health Center a Health Fair and Blood Drive.
